VT???? Stowe vs Killington

Not really a ski question more about the towns themselves. Anyone been to both? Which is more livable? A more centralized downtown, bigger community, more year round activities.
Stowe seems easier to fly in and out of for the most part. Killington a lot more affordable.
We’re going up to Burlington this summer but have ideas about doing something more long term.

in my mid-20s and, having lived in Burlington for several years growing up, I'd go Stowe without hesitation.

Stowe is definitely the answer. It's a great little town right next to skiing, and the beer is exceptional. Shorter drive to Burlington, but a bit further from Boston.
Really great restaurants in Stowe as well. Doc Ponds is fantastic (and has Hill Farmstead on tap) and just across the way in Waterbury is Prohibition Pig and Hen of the Wood (my favorite)
