So the other day I voluntarily bumped from an overbooked United Airlines flight home from Sydney for a $1,000 voucher and was actually put on a flight that got me home sooner than my original flight. Win, win.
Anyway, only once in the past have I received a voucher (about six years ago) and I don’t remember how much it was worth (certainly not a grand) or exactly how I used it. So I have a few questions: Does this mean I can book just one flight for up to $1,000? Can I book multiple flights until I reach $1,000? Can I book multiple tickets on one flight?

You got a year to spend the whole $1k be it on 3 flights or a half a flight

You should be able to use on multiple flights until exhausted.
