Tuktoyaktuk: has anyone gone?

I'm beginning to plan and save for a trip, but also trying to decide the best time of year to do it.
The dead of summer would be the easiest, but it seems a shame to not make it a snowy adventure.
Just want to make sure my little boy is old enough to remember it. So we need another couple of years anyways.

Never heard of it until your post. How did this end up on your radar vs other northern outposts? I'm curious

Prudhoe bay doesn't get you to the artic ocean.
Canada built the road a few years ago and you can get all the way there.
We watch a lot of YouTube travel and camping things together

I bet you know more about it than anyone here
How do you get there? I see there is one road. Is it paved? Where do you fly into? What would you be doing? I have a million questions...
