Anyone else do this for fun? If so, what are you sitting at this year?

I've got an excel workbook where I track airports visited, flights taken, and miles flown. Yes, I know... Nerd

I'm at 34 flights and 37k miles flown so far this year.

Do you count each stop a flight? If you purchase a RT ticket with a layover, is that 1,2, or 4 flights?

I think TripIt basically does this automatically

Yes in the very rare occasions that it happens. A takeoff/landing is a flight.

Haven’t had any layovers this year. Only choose directs.

honest question…if you knew exactly how many flights and how many miles flown you’ve had for your entire life, the exact numbers…what would you do with this information?

Just for shits and giggles. No different than people knowing how many countries they've visited, how many hole in ones they've hit, etc...
