They don't have midge repellant? I go hiking in the worst of mosquito and Mississippi bug season.

I'm not sure such a severe chemical exists lol. If you watch that challenge video, you can see how plentiful they are - and that might not be them even near their worst.

We would see highway workers wearing literal full body beekeeper outfits.

I mean, they're only in certain places, so I'm just saying to be mindful. But they can also show up when you don't expect it. Like, one night on Skye, we had dinner late and thought we'd have a cup of coffee out on the lawn overlooking the water since it was still "dusk" at like 11PM. We lasted barely 30 seconds.
