I'm heading there next month for a convention, but haven't done much research on this place.
Anyone have any tips/must-see attractions in the area? TIA

I went there once back in 1990. We had a cabin that was quite cool. Fireplace, Old fashioned bathtub. Nice restaurant. Boat rentals. Guys at the docks will give you fishing tips. Sometimes the guides will. Lake is crystal clear.

Beautiful place. When LSU and Arkansas used to play in Little Rock the day after Thanksgiving, we would go up early and spend a few days in Branson which is a short drive away. We would often have Thanksgiving dinner at the Big Cedar Lodge.

1) Rent boat, enjoy Table Rock Lake
2) If you have a day, go to Silver Dollar City
