Anybody ever been? I've gotta go for a business trip next month. It looks very nice but I'm looking for tips and recommendations.

It’s very, very nice as is all of Palm Beach. Lots of rich, East coast high society snowbirds and families stay there and frequent the area in general. We are at Palm Beach currently and come down fairly regularly. What sort of recs are you looking for? Check out the Lake Trail if you want a place to walk/bike with cool views of scenery and yachts and architecture. You can access it via a short walk from the Breakers.

We are down further towaerd South Palm and don’t get up that way too often to eat or anything (especially with Trump here because you have to take a detour off island to get that far north on the island), but I can try to answer any specific questions.

I'm looking for some restaurants and some activities I can do with my FIL. Maybe some shopping for my wife.

Shopping won’t be a problem. Downtown Palm is nothing but insanely expensive boutiques (like Balenciaga stores and such). Royal Poinsietta is cool as well with good shops and food. You could be perfectly happy for a few days just sampling what the Breakers has to offer, but there is also good food all around Palm Beach, though we tend to eat ethnic and lower end while down here. West Palm Beach Farmer’s Market on Saturdays is really awesome with fantastic produce but also lots of amazing food stands and such. Really fun vibe.

Sunday brunch in the Circle is the best!

Yep, went a few years ago, but it was in May, so quite a bit different...I would guess...than January.

That said, it was a work outing as well, so we had our days filled with various excursions like golf, snorkeling, hanging out on the beach, etc. The wife and I did grab bikes one day and ride around the island - that was kinda cool.

It has its own FBI office, apparently, due to all the money there.

The place was great.
