I just came back from 3 weeks vacation there. I can’t really tell you anything about working there. The people are over-the-top friendly though, the food is great, it’s cheap as hell, it’s sunny, there are beaches and mountains everywhere. I’d live there for sure. I’ll go if you don’t want to...

thanks! could be one incredible opportunity/adventure ... would be at least 4 months and lots of work in the jungle (shooting a film)
