Steamboat local here. Not a ton of ski in, ski out options at the Boat, but there are a few.

Storm Meadows has a bunch of different condo and townhome options along the slopes. Torian Plum has some condos that's at the base and a good location. Basically ski in, ski out.

There are some good off-slope locations that offer ski storage and shuttles. Eagle ridge townhomes. The porches. Ski storage can make all the difference if ya stay off-slopes. I wish I had more to say about lodging but I'm not too familiar with the prices and comparisons between the places.

If ya need ski rentals, Ski Butlers - I can get ya a 15-20% discount. We are a ski delivery service. Boots fit in your lodging. Skis and everything brought to your door. And we'll come to you and switch out any problem equipment. Can meet ya meet ya between runs to try new boots on. Try to take the pain outta ski rentals.

Let me know any other questions. There's a few Steamboat visitors on here that might be able to chime in more on lodging. Hopefully we'll be up to our necks in Champagne Powder while you're here.

I've been to steamboat 3/4 times in the last 12 years. And it's one of my favorite places to go. I love the Sunshine Express.

Like bama said, not many ski-in/ski-outs, but honestly, walking a bit to the shuttles or to the lifts aren't that big of a deal. You're going to have to take the Gondola anyway.

With that said, I found eight spots rather quickly that may be what you are looking for on VRBO.

What's your price range? One Steamboat Place is probably the best and is right next to the gondola. Edgemont is also nice and is located right off the bottom slope. The Sheraton villas have some 3 bedroom units as well. If you can swing it, one steamboat place has the best amenities, but it's $$$$.

We've stayed at Torian Plum twice; very nice, pretty much ski in-ski out, not as expensive as One Steamboat Place.
