Did a day and night there last month. It’s a cool little town with lots of good food and bars

Mud Street Cafe is a great breakfast and lunch spot.

Creole Girls Cafe

Grotto Wood Fire grill and Wine Cave- didn’t have time but was recommended and we passed by and it looked legit.

If you are going to Grotto get a reservation ahead of time. It's small , I doubt they take many walk ins if any. Ermillios is the staple in town. Lots of hole in wall places to get a drink.

We enjoyed dinner Local Flavor Cafe. I recommend making a reservation about a week in advance.

Local Flavor website

I can’t remember the name, but we wrapped up our evenings at a dive bar on German Alley. It was a very short, but incredibly steep , walk to our rental on Spring St.

Have fun!
