Tried to get a RV spot at the SEC Baseball Tournament field for years. Always sold out even a year in advance.
Where else is a good place to tailgate with my RV in Hoover close to the stadium?
Thanks!

The lot on the far side of the stadium from the RVs has a lot of space. But no hookups.

You could try to buy a RV lot pass from a fan whose team gets knocked out early.

Tannehill State Park isn't too far away(10 miles or so) and has a bunch of RV spots. Not close enough to tailgate. Don't think there's anywhere close to the stadium other than their lots. It's kind of in a residential area.

I was hoping to get a spot at the met this year but was unsuccessful. I'd love to rent an RV from a local and have them park it out there for me.

I hate driving from work to the ballpark and then leaving the ballpark at 11 or midnight. Still gotta drive back to the house and be ready for work the next day. SEC tournament week is a long but exciting week for me.

I don’t need hook ups. How do I find out more about the open lot?

Thanks RedFoxx!
Can I stay in that lot for the entire tournament or would I have to leave each day and return the next day? Is it free parking?

I've definitely left my car there for multiple days during the tournament.

It is free.

Instead of going all the way down to the end of Stadium Trace Pkwy, take a left on Learning Dr. then a right at the school and follow that road down the hill and you're in the parking lot.

Otherwise if you go all the way down Stadium Trace they'll make you park in the main lot.
