Great pics. SLC is a pretty cool town. I've been fortunate enough to go there for some work conferences a few times. I've stayed up at Snowbird and also across from you there in the Little America before.

We've sat at this table many times. Again, I'd consider a trip to SLC wasted if you didn't go there. The food and venue are top shelf.

Glad yall had fun. We are leaving to go next Weds. We are only there for a day or two.

I have to admit it stood way out for me as the food was excellent. The crab cakes, filet, desserts were all delicious. When my daughter requested the crab cakes I rolled my eyes and whispered to my wife how big of a mistake that would be but I was wrong. They were some of the best I’ve had.

Went to Log Haven after taking a nap on Weds. Top notch service and food as usual. Again, don’t come to SLC without eating here.

Thursday was Penny Ann’s for brunch and a food coma. The pancakes here are amazing and the portions are enormous. We walked that off at Red Butte Gardens. Never been there before. It’s a botanical garden associated with the university. Well worth the trip.

This is from the top of the gardens looking down into the valley and SLC. The buildings on the right are the freshman dorms where my son spent his first year here.

Just a random pic of the gardens. We missed the peak of the rose garden by a week or so. It was still amazing.

SLC Bees baseball. The venue is amazing. The fans are less than enthusiastic and the beers are expensive. Guessing baseball isn’t much of a thing out here. Too bad.

We did a brewery tour before and after. We hit Uinta, Kiitos, Epic, and Fisher.

We didn’t like the vibe at Uinta. It was in an industrial park in a rougher part of town. The clientele was a little strange. The fries and fry sauce were awesome.

Kiitos was a better atmosphere. The beer was good. It was our second favorite.

Epic had a very small tap room. It was less about drinking beer and more about making it. They got around Utah’s weird draft laws by serving out of 22oz bombers. Probably the best beer was here.

Fisher cemented itself as the best beer venue in SLC. The atmosphere is great. The beers are good. Service was great. They even had a Louisiana food truck there. Nice lady that came out here from Louisiana 15 yrs ago with the military.
