I believe they have to be licensed by the city they operate in and Ruston has been reluctant to give that license. It’s almost like they’d rather catch drunks driving and make money off them than actually provide the means for a service to keep kids safe.

Louisiana passed a statewide rideshare law in 2019 to avoid that problem.

White lightning has the best food and drinks imo, then Beau Vines, then probably Utility brewing. Trios and Log Cabin ain't bad either, but I'd definitely start with White Lightning
