We booked a cruise on RC for July. Looking forward to it.

Now, I am in their e-mail system.

At least 5 times a week, I get an e-mail for some BIG SALE! HUGE SALE! from RC. This has been going on for several months.

It seems like every day, there is a sale. A sale that lasts for 5-6 days, and then it ends, and then another sale takes it place. And while they may change the percentages, or the OBC, or free stuff, etc, the net price always ends up around the same amount.

It's just like how Kohls and JC Penney always are promoting some can't-miss sale, when in reality, no one has ever paid the "stated price" and no one ever will.

I feel like Carnival and Disney (the other two lines we have sailed on) will occasionally offer some discounts, or extra OBC, or reduced deposits. But they generally are more dynamic with their base price - the price is what it is, based on time of year and other factors, and doesn't change much.

There's a little link at the bottom that says "unsubscribe", hit that sucker and your woes will be gone. Marketing emails annoy the hell out of me.
