What are the pros/cons of Timeshare? I've heard good and bad. If any of you can give me some input on this it I would be grateful. Thanks

I've heard very mixed things on them, but the one consistent thing I've heard from people I know that have had one is how hard they are to sell. But that probably depends a lot on the actual timeshare, location, fees, usage, etc. Our friends have one outside Disney and rave about it.

We have a timeshare at Grand Solmar Land's End down in Cabo. we bought 2 weeks back to back. We rent out the first week and go down there for the 2nd... and over the past 5 years, we have gotten our money back for buying both units.
Win.

Run from timeshares.
Save your cash and pay for a vacation - go somewhere new and interesting each year.
IF you must invest (lose money) in a time share, purchase in the Diseny area or one of the Deer Valley timeshares - you may have a shot at getting out whole.

I don't know the details, but some friends of ours have one that rotates to a new Caribbean location every year. They've been to Aruba, Turks, Dominican Republic, and St Thomas.

I wouldn't touch a timeshare with a 10 foot pole.
