Depends on what you enjoy, Amsterdam has a lot to offer besides the Anne Frank House and weed. I did two full days in Amsterdam and wish I had done more because it was beautiful and once I got away from the tourist areas it was much nicer.

Thats a pretty short stay in europe but 3 days each city is probably the best split. But, with only a week, I would pick 1 of those cities and then do a day trip or 2 to other cities close by. 3 days in each is not optimum for either.

While I could spend a lot more time in Prague, you can see/do a lot there in a few days. It's such a walkable city. With an airbnb (super cheap there) just down below Prague Castle, the perfect first day could be:
- nearby cafe for coffee/breakfast
- walk up the hill to Prague castle before the lines get long & enjoy everything inside
- leave there and walk down to & across Charles Bridge
- see the Astronomical clock (highly recommend paying to go inside & up to the top of the tower as well)
- late lunch & Pilsens in Old Town Square, specifically if there's a holiday market going on
- wander and enjoy the pivovars/pubs

Last July, I did it in the opposite direction and was glad. The temps were in the 90s. Our hotel had a car service so we rode to the castle when it opened and walked down as the crowds were coming up. We stopped for breakfast on the way down through the old town. Only problem with this is Charles Bridge was packed by the time we got there making taking pics tough.

You will love Prague, I would spend as much time as you can. Budapest is another must

If they weren’t going to Amsterdam, that’s what I would recommend. We hit Prague and Budapest on the same trip. An option for one night between P and B is Bratislava as the train passes through.
