Thanks for all of the info--this is super helpful. Yeah we have breakfast included. Great to hear that its good.
I'd looked at the prices for drinks at Sugar Beach and decided to do our best to buy some liquor in Miami, but our layover is only 1 hour so not sure that it'll be possible. Is there a store that sells alcohol at the airport in St. Lucia? I'm expecting to be in a hurry in Miami.
Great to hear that they're still providing flippers and scuba gear. I'm excited to check the reef out by the resort one day.
I'm planning on eating a lot of pizza there .
How did you like the sunset cruise? We're on the fence as to whether we should do the cruise at Sugar Beach or at Windjammer.

Check out this app that I saw advertised:

I believe that should help you with your time frame as you can order up to 7 days prior to travel and it will be at the gate when you leave.
Regarding food:
Because you are going at a super busy time I would recommend getting reservation each night for dinner. Can always cancel and it doesn't cost anything. I enjoyed the hell out of their conch fritters. The pizza and lunch sandwiches were all solid. My favorite meal was at the sushi place, Cane Bar. Bayside is cheapest place but kind of similar to what you will be eating for lunch. I honestly liked everything I had for except for a citrus shrimp salad, plantain & potato chip appetizer and a fricking $12 bagel with cream cheese. I was like, surely there is more to this bagel but it was literally a toasted bagel with cream cheese.
We enjoyed the sunset cruise because it was a nice vantage point we hadn't experience but I would imagine it's similar to the one at the Windjammer. If there is a nice weather one night and it's available, I would just pull the trigger and go. The sunset cruises at Sugar Beach are only on Tuesday and Friday(I believe). If you happen to have a stretch of bad weather on that one night you planned to go at the end of the trip, then you blew your chance to go.
Are you staying at in villa? I would bring a mini speaker if you have it. It was nice music around the plunge pool. The room had an old iPhone hook up which was disappointing.

Thanks for the app. That’s pretty cool. I’m looking at the schedule and I think we’ll be able to hit duty free in Miami. Great to hear on the conch fritters—I haven’t had any in 15 years and will definitely have some.
We’re doing a cottage I believe. It does have a plunge pool and I’m definitely bringing my speaker. How were the temps when you were there?

Pretty mild. It was warm if you were in direct sun but not bad other than that. Very casual. You don’t need to bring a sport coat or anything. Enjoy.

asked the same question on another forum, and some people advised that she leave the US on her US passport and re-enter the US with her US passport, but use her Polish passport for entry into St. Lucia and exit from St. Lucia. Does anyone have any experience with completing two legs of a trip using two different passports?
I enter Europe with my EU passport and return with my US passport all the time. I have global entry and UK no longer stamps passports but before that I would get questioned on why I didn’t have stamps.

We made it into St Lucia with no issues at all. No one asked any questions do we just used her US passport. The island is amazing. Windjammer Landing has really impressed us in the first two days. Yesterday we took a charter down the coast to snorkel at the Pitons and to get a sneak peek of Sugar Beach. The coastline between the north end where we are now and Sugar Beach is beautiful. The Pitons are very impressive. And what we saw of Sugar Beach looked great too. It’s been an incredible 2 days.

Passport issues aside, how was getting into St Lucia with covid protocol? Going in a few weeks and a little antsy over the unfamiliar procedures.
