This is a great post. I went to NYC for the first time this past December and crammed so much shite into 3 days lol. Me and the wife are bringing our 10 year old son for 6 nights this coming November and will use a lot in this thread. I just want be able to go to many bars with the kiddo

Pro tip: if you encounter too long a line for the Statue of Liberty, take the Staten Island Ferry instead. Doesn't stop at the statue, but gets reasonably close and gives you a good look at the statue. You can then either explore Staten Island or ride right back across for a 2nd look. Probably be back before you would have made it anywhere close to the front of the long line to ferry to the SoL.

There are more blue squares on that wall not shown in the picture. Each square represents someone who died.

They need to sell bourbon in the gift shop. That memorial is heavy.
