They probably shouldn't even do much in the FQ.

This statement is just hilarious when you are talking about a bachelorette party. You know they will go to Pat O's and get hurricanes. You know they will walk around Bourbon to the trashy bars.

I think the biggest probably is being such a large group. They better figure out what they want to eat because a group of that size will need to book ahead.

Biggest challenge with a group that size is eating, and evening activities. With some/a lot planning dinners shouldn't be too much of an issue. But it will be much harder for breakfast/brunch and lunch with a group that big. Even if they find a casual place with counter service (like Parkway), with a group that big the first group to order will have their food while people are still in line.

And bars/entertainment won't be too bad in the afternoon, early evening, but it will tough to get that many people in a nightspot when if the evening crowd arrives.

If I had group that big and wanted to do a City destination (and not a beach or mountain house) the only place I would consider is Vegas which has big enough venues and destination places to accommodate that many people at once. And I'm not a Vegas fan at all, but it does work for big groups.

Good lord at the drama that will ensue. How do they collaborate and get everyone on the same page for a group that size ?

Sounds like my personal hell

with a total of 24 girls

That's a large group. As others have mentioned, the biggest obstacle is getting meal reservations. May have to split up the group for lunches and dinners.

Magazine Street (especially from Napoleon to Washington) is ideal for a bachelorette group, as the girls can meander down through shops, bars, boutiques etc. Apolline is a great brunch spot a few blocks past Napoleon on Magazine.

If it's a warm time of year (most likely in NOLA), they should look into a rooftop hotel pool downtown or in the FQ.

Doing a river cruise or a jazz brunch on a steamboat in the Miss River is always a good time and could accommodate a large group. If they're into breweries, there's four along Tchoupitoulas, starting with Urban South and ending at Port Orleans.

The Country Club drag brunch in the Bywater is pretty popular for these types of occasions. They could hop on the St. Charles Avenue street car and pop over to various locations like the Pontchartrain Hotel, which has a rooftop bar, The Columns, The Chloe (near Napoleon) which has a pool as well. Superior Seafood is by those two places two, as I've seen large groups there quite a bit.

If they can do a meal at Commanders Palace in Uptown, that's a blast, but Galatoires in the FQ is also awesome.

I'm sure they'll bounce around the Quarter and Bourbon a fair bit, just advise your daughter to stick with a pack and not wander off, basically be smart.

Honestly, with a group that size, they probably should've just rented a beach house, but to each their own.
