Not alot around there but Mount Nebo is only 30 minutes away and Mt. Magazine is one hour in the other direction. Both worth seeing.

This is where I proposed to my wife. It’s beautiful there. The main lodge has a great view in the back. There is a lookout point where you can see for miles. Also a beautiful waterfall but it’s not flowing all year long and I’m not sure what months it does.
Petit Jean is such a diamond the rough that’s close to LA.

The Overlook where the grave is, the auto museum is a nice break. All the hikes are good. If you do the 7 hollows hike, start to the LEFT from the parking lot. The Indian Cave is great. The falls below the lodge is great if water flowing. Drive over to Mt. Nero which is about 30 mins away.

Mount Magazine is about 45 mins away approx. You can park at the lodge and easily summit the tallest peak in Arkansas. It is a VERY easy hike and short. 1 hr round trip or less.

Appreciate the info fellas. We enjoyed the area and the kids loved the trails. Will be back and head to magazine and Nebo next time.
