Fly into Miami, spend one night and drive to Key Largo and spend 2 nights there. The drive to Islamorada and spend 2 nights there. Then drive to Key West and spend 2 nights there. Return the rental car to the Key West airport and fly home from there.

OR...fly into Vegas and spend 2-3 nights there then drive to the Grand Canyon. Spend two night at the Grand Canyon then drive to Sedona and spend 2-3 nights there and return the rental car and fly home from Phoenix.
