Looking to take a quick anniversary trip in early June. Flights are still pretty cheap. Any recommendations on a nice reasonably priced hotel? Also if we plan to stay in south beach do we need a rental car?

Stayed at The Surfcomber (Kimpton) and The Confidante (Hyatt). Both had Art Deco charm with direct beach access.

No need to rent a car. You can walk or Uber/Lyft easily but not sure about how vehicle sharing is working right now...

Yea the three counties that make up the Miami area are still pretty locked down. They aren’t following the phases along with the rest of the state.

Are the beaches open? We mainly planned to just hang around the beach.

The Confidante (Hyatt)

I second this one, stayed here two nights and it was nice. Nice pool areas and poolside bar as well.
