Knoxville area in mid-February with family

Going up for a family function and will have a few days to explore. Going to go through the Smokies and Cades Cove,etc.
Anybody have any suggestions on other things to do or see?

Look up Cherohala Skyway, can hit up Lost Sea at the same time if you want to check that out.

Don't count on cases cove. That road spends most of February closed off due to weather.
