First time to Jackson Hole?

My two favorite spots for a quick bite/ appetizer/ and beer is the deck at Dornan's and the deck on top of the Teton Village Gondola. Both are starting to have limited hours and probably close Oct 1, so check before you go.

Also the Deck at Jackson Lake Lodge is solid for the above but that's a long drive from town.

We rented side by sides and did the Gros Ventre wilderness trail up to gunsite pass. It was a blast. You drive through town and out past the airport. It’s an all day drive if you want, but well worth the trip. Pack some drinks, but if you forget, there is one store on the way to stop.

If you haven’t been before, it’s one of the most beautiful places you’ll ever see. Enjoy.

FYI. I’m in Jackson Hole right now. Weather this weekend is predicted to be clouds, rain/snow.

I’m also in Jackson.

The weather is still fine for hiking. You’ll see a little snow at altitude, so bring gaiters.

Take the skylift in town to the top and walk the trails. One hell of a view.

Are you still here. This old lady isn’t even leaving the house in this nasty weather. I’m here visiting with family anyway. Conditions have to be perfect to get me on a hike
