It was $100 for 3 of us. Our gondolier was a douche and didn’t sing. It was still a nice experience.

Do not fall into that water. It smells pretty bad.
We were there in April and it was off season so it wasn’t crowded at all. We went close to dark so it was super nice. Don’t go to the restaurant they suggest. It was the worst meal we had in Venice haha

Wife and I went to venice before children and did not do it. Regretted it for 17 years until we took our children with us in 2014. It was an enjoyable experience. It didn't look anything like the photograph posted. We were the only ones in the canal 3 days after mardi gras day. I want to say we paid 80 euros for all 4 of us and it lasted about 35 minutes. Don't need to do it again but glad we did.

Do it. Don't be a cheapskate.

We spent 40 euro and it lasted 30 minutes. The photos and memories you get are worth it.

Plus, wait until late in the day when the cruise tourists are gone.
