Honestly what matters a lot that hasn’t been mentioned is where you are sitting on the first flight. There is a huge difference in the amount of time it takes to exit a plane from row 5 vs row 32. The further back you are the more it increases risk.

I always consider this. On short layovers I pay more to get into an aisle in the front of Economy. If I have a long layover I'm in the 30s or 50s at a window.
Though for this flight I elected an earlier flight to have a 3 hour layover.
