Indianapolis 500- give me all the tips

We will be there for the first time this year. Tickets and hotel are secured but give me your day of the race tips. I know I can bring an ice chest in and we have a parking pass. What else do I need to know?

Leave on mile 499 to beat the traffic.

Bring a cooler and sun protection
If I were going back I would splurge for E stand tickets. I think this is best section if you can get them. This is turn 1 where you can see the drag race down the front stretch with views of turn 2, pit exit, and probably a few wrecks.
The traffic is awful so get there early on race day, like 6 AM and watch the place come alive.
There is nothing like the prerace buildup at Indy. Very moving and patriotic.
ETA - Track is huge so park on side of track where your seats are or else you will walk forever
