Ideas for 10 year anniversary trip

Looking for ideas for a 10 year anniversary trip in August. I prefer to drive but flying somewhere is not out of the question. We would be leaving from just outside of the New Orleans area and I don’t mind driving about 10 hours. Outdoor activities of any tyle is a plus. TIA

Everywhere down south is hot as hell in August. I'd just fly to Colorado and do a split stay between Breckenridge and Estes Park. We did this for our July honeymoon years ago and wife absolutely loved it. Weather normally is highs in the 70's and lows around 50's. Plenty of things to do around Breckenridge and Estes Park has Rocky Mountain National Park. When you travel back to Denver to fly out, catch a Rockies game before you leave.
