Excited for a break and will have about 10 days on the ground. Based out of Lisbon and Porto but plan to take a number of day trips.
Lisbon
Porto
Fatima
Obidos
Nazare
Duoro Valley
Aveiro
Those are the planned locations as of now but I am super flexible to adjust along the way. Any tips from the travel board?

Considering this for our next European trip. I may have asked this in another thread, but where are you flying out of and into? I'll be watching this thread closely.

You've got a lot covered. Would recommend a night or three outside of those 2 big cities if you can. You'll have a great time either way.
Duoro Valley is awesome. Take a guided hike into the hills and sleepy villages if time. Guimaraes is on the way there.. probably my favorite town we visited. The seat of Portugal and home to a cool castle and village.
Coninbriga (large Roman ruins) near Coimbra was also a highlight. There is a famous library in Coimbra that is worth the wait to get inside (for the jaw dropping decor).
Obidos is well-preserved and like you're stepping back in time... minus all the tourist shops.
Tons to do in Porto/Lisbon. I enjoyed the smaller villages, history, and old churches (of which there are many) the most. Never seen more graffiti in the big cities, but everyone speaks English and friendly.
Lisbon was hit by a huge quake in the 1700s but most of the country is very well preserved since they escaped the big wars. It'll be an unforgettable trip. Enjoy!

Aveiro
This is what I would recommend based on our trip from this past July.
Places you listed
Lisbon - obviously a must.
Porto - same.
Fatima - we were told by our guide to skip it unless we were uber-religious.
Obidos - we didn't go, but I heard good things.
Nazare - didn't go.
Duoro Valley - we didn't have time to do this and it is one of my big regrets about the trip.
Aveiro - SKIP IT. SKIP IT. SKIP IT.
Additional options
Sintra - 10000000000000% recommended. Right outside of Lisbon, so it is an easy trip.
Evora - we did not go and it is a bit out of the way, but it looks awesome.
Coimbra - cool college town with awesome library.
Tomar - medieval home of the Templars. Really cool aqueducts you can get on top of.
Braga - we audibled at the last second to go to Aveiro instead and regret it.

Was Aveiro just a boring city?
Definitely doing Sintra (forgot to list it). I’ve also heard Cascais is worth a visit and close by Sintra. I’m doing this trip through the hostel.
Evora caught my eye but it is a pretty good distance from Lisbon which is why I was looking elsewhere.
I may do Coimbre instead of Aveiro based on your feedback. Has anyone ventured north to Vigo, Spain? It’s about two hours from Porto.

I would spend extra time in Duoro Valley doing a hike or wine tasting, over Coimbra which didn't impress outside of the library and nearby Roman ruins. The service workers, etc. were oddly standoffish and even rude compared to the rest of the country. They seem pretty beaten by tourists to the library.
