Mama's is great for a nice dinner. For a quick lunch in south Kihei I like Da Kitchen or Poke from most anywhere. Leoda's in Lahaina has amazing pastries, pies, cakes and decent lunch food to boot. I very much second the suggestion to snorkel Molikini. Baldwin beach/piea area is a great day trip. My favorite sunset spot is South Kihei beach. Lots of cool locals go there nightly for sunset over Molokini. Now I will be looking. at tickets...crap:)

Best bbq I had on the island was at Braddah hutts bbq in Hana. Those ribs

I agree. Good ribs. The Natl. Park area on road to Hana was a great stop. Get your pass the day before you go.

Nuka Sushi in Haiku area was also very good.

I've only been to Maui but it was very nice. Beaches were great. The little aquarium is good for kids.

I stopped there because of that rec... not me. One post on TD results in several happy travelers

I’m ready for a Maui/Kaua’i trip. I’ve done the other 2 islands a bunch of times.
