Heading to Grand Rapids for a few days next month. Will have a decent amount of free time, any suggestions for stuff to do or places to eat? Mainly interested in casual dining but could do a nice dinner one night.
Also interested in brewery recs, have done some reading but open to suggestions.

The three breweries I would hit would be Founders, New Holland and Brewery Vivant. Grand Rapids Brewery has good food but the beer is average at best. I recommend the All-American patty melt at GRB.
Hop Cat is a good casual spot with good food and beer options.

Depending on where you are from, a nice dinner is probably a skip. If you're going to, I recommend The Sovengard. They are moving spaces so not sure if they'll be open when you're there. Other than that Terra is pretty good. Little Bird downtown has a great burger.
Brewery Vivant is a must. No offense to the other poster but Founders, New Holland, and HopCat are skips for me. If I was going to suggest one of those I'd say Founders.
I'd recommend Creston Brewery, City Built, and Harmony.
The Mitten has great pizza and soft pretzel. Long Road distillery is right next door and is pretty solid.
Speciation has some great barrel aged beers.
The stretch of Wealthy street in Easttown has solid restaurants that are good vibes but just decent food. Donkey Taqueria, The Winchester, Hancock.
