Jewish Museum- The first 2 floors are great....several interactive/ interpretive "art" pieces/ rooms that is an unusual experience. But it has 7 or 8 floors of jewish exhibits that get really tedious. We made it 3 floors up before bailing.
Memorial to Murdered Jews, which is mostly a park/sculpture that is free. There is an underground museum but we didnt go there.
Tier Garden ...their Central Park...there is a cool biergarten called Schleusenkrug in the park and a second called Café am Neuen See.
Prater Biergarten is the oldest in Berlin and has a restaurant adjacent where you can get sausages, etc. Great place to hang out.
Prenzlaubuerg (sp) neighborhood is full of cafes and restaurants. Same with Kreuzberg. The Neukolln hood is full of dives bars.
Schoenburg neighborhood....its a gay hood...but walking around and looking at all the fetish costumes in the windows of shops is fun. There is a great gelato place adjacent to the Sbahn stop (and if you haven't been to germany and used their mass transit, read up on the difference between SBahns and UBahns.)

In 3 weeks? Berlin will be a bit hectic. The marathon is the 24th, and that is the same day as the election. Expect crowds and security.
I'll be there too, but running the marathon
