We went to Exuma for Christmas. We brought in a ham and other holiday food items. Our flight was short and it was still frozen. Zero issues walking right out the airport. Everyone is right- food is expensive on the island. $8.00 for a box of mac/cheese. $13 for mayo, broccoli was $7.00 for one crown. Store was completely picked over. Wine and booze was double. Best thing is to buy fresh lobsters from the local fisherman at the boat ramp. Sometimes they had snapper too

CSB, just letting you know your rec of Prime Island Meat was horrible. They had ham, week old chicken and bologna. They didn’t even have ground meat for sale the two days we checked.
I now realize you suggested that having no idea of reality of Exuma and trying to get internet cred. But, next time don’t comment on things you have no real world knowledge of. Your suggestion was horrible.
Thanks to everyone that suggested freezing and bringing meat.
Exuma island is beautiful, but, groceries are basic and meat choice is third world. We went to 3 grocery stores and say only 6 eggs available for sale.
Cheap out like CSB said and bring your own meat/chicken.
