Any can’t miss restaurants on Crete? I’ll be heading there on the 28th and we are going to “go with the flow” for most of the trip buts I’d like to have some food options lined up.
Thanks for the insight!

Good point! We are staying on Matala but we will have a car to get around. I know we plan on spending some time in Chania as well.

We ate at Peskesi in downtown Heraklion. Would not recommend dining there though. Wasn’t impressed with the food or the atmosphere. If you’re in Rethymion I can highly recommend Achinos Rethmyno. Delicious food and great service.
We also toured the Titakis winery and, as part of a wine and olive oil making tour, we had a five course dinner at the winery. That was the best meal we had in Crete.
