Flying into MSY next month, is the new terminal still a mess?

MSY, like most international airports are always a mess, but looking to avoid taking an eternity to get a Lyft from the airport to NOLA.

Haven't flown out, but flew in and it was a breeze, granted it was later in the evening. Have heard from friends and coworkers security is a little bit longer, but logistically it's been fine.

Flew out on the 7th, the day after opening, at 6 am and we were only delayed by 30 or so minutes because the baggage conveyor for Southwest was not working that day. Flying back in on the 16th had no problems what so ever. You should be fine.

I've flown in twice now and haven't had any issues. However, i didn't use a ride app to be picked up. I have heard that is taking a little while to get picked up by a ride app.
