Flight out of MSY is delayed from 9 to 12.
Does southwest help people out in these situations in regards to switching to an earlier flight? Or do I just swallow the change in ticket price?

Call in now, go to airport and get on earlier flight. Where are you headed?

Dallas love
Waiting to talk to a representative. Damn it looks like prices aren't available for other flights now.

Either their app or website explains how they compensate for late flights. They have different tiers. Like 1-2 hours late, 3-5, 5+ and so on

Not sure about SW
Jet Blue gave us $75 on a delayed flight to Boston to be used within a year so we were able to use that on a return trip to Boston for about $600.

They got me on the 6:15 flight. She asked no questions and didn’t say I would be charged anything.
Works perfectly. About to board now. Forfeited my early bird check in though.

I'm surprised they didn't give you a better number. For the hr flight and getting in 5 hours early though well worth the cost

Yeah I’m pretty happy about it lol
New Orleans to Dallas is such a quick flight.
