Headed there next Saturday. Been to their other property in playa mujeres and it was great

Went for honeymoon three years ago and had an incredible time. Beautiful property

There's about 10 threads in the first few pages about it. Pretty unanimously loved, although I'd favor Playa Mujeres location. Agree on the direct flights being a gamechanger, Spirit has them throughout the week too if not flying on Saturdays both ways. I'd rather fly Spirit (can pay to sit in big front seat) than connect.

Is SWA flying nonstop to CUN from MSY? I couldn’t find any flights for a couple of upcoming dates. Appreciate any info. Thanks.

I believe the non-stops are on Saturdays, and may only be outbound...I couldn't find any for our itinerary coming back.

Stayed there for 4-5 days a couple years ago. Resort is nice. Good food and drinks and entertainment.
Lobster restaurant was pretty meh. And the beach had a shite ton of algae and seaweed. Was impossible to get in the ocean.
Obviously that’s not the resorts fault just unfortunate timing. But anyways those were my only two “complaints”. It was a nice spot and would definitely go again.
I wouldn’t pay extra for the excellence club though. It’s already adults only and pretty low key.
I think I’ll try the playa mujeres location next or maybe wonder down the tulum
