Spent 5 days last week. Gorgeous! If you are looking for a peaceful, relaxing getaway, this is your place.
Resort: beautiful, well maintained. Always able to get a pool chair, or day bed on beach, or lounger and umbrella by beach.
Pool: have a quiet and social pool.
Tbh, they both are quiet. Not a big party scene. Perfect for honeymoon, anniversary, or couples Who just want to chill.
Food: really good. Skip the grill (steakhouse) very mediocre. Club restaurants were awesome, breakfast and dinner ( ask for specifics and I’ll answer)
Drinks: strong!
Service: everyone was super nice and helpful. Drinks/ wait staff weren’t super fast, but from what I learned “island time” is real
Room: ok, nothing special. Big. Stayed humid though… I guess their a/c doesn’t work quite like ours. Bring the “rid x” bag thingys, and a couple fleece covers (to lay on and cover up” and your good. Their sheets aren’t top quality and felt wet with humidity
Excellence club: worth it restaurants were a step above, 2 private pools with plenty of seating etc. private check in. Free 30 minute spa session, which was more like an hour. 15% off any spa service. I think we paid like $400 more for the club level room for 4 nights . Do it!

Plenty on wife’s phone… I tend to live in the moment and don’t take many pics.
Plus don’t know how to post them anyway..
But I will say, pics/ videos on website are accurate.

Was just there 2 weeks ago. It never felt busy even though there were a lot of people there. Excellence Club is definitely worth it for the food - Magna was awesome. Definitely a place to chill.
Been to Excellence Playa Mujeres twice and prefer it over Oyster Bay, way better service and more fun environment.
Want to try Excellence Coral next.

How is Playa Murejas food and cleanliness compared?

Comparable food wise overall. Playa Mujeres was in extremely good condition 3 years ago. The pool set up is much better and there is a lazy River.
Service is far better in Mexico, those amigos hustle.
