Biggest piece of advice I can give on your first time is...don't take photos, don't try to video it. Just go in and try to soak it all up. From the moment it starts just soak it all in.

Also, not sure if you plan on staying until the firework show..but if you do report back on it. I have seen Fantasmic but never the Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular. I think it might be closed. I'm not sure if they have had the fireworks during Covid.

Fireworks will start again on July 1 but so far, only Happily Ever After in Magic Kingdom and Epcot Forever.

I know the cast of Fantasmic is back and they are working on the theater so hopefully thats close too.

No idea why they cant run the Star Wars Spectacular out side of the obvious reason (money)

Rise of the Resistance was fantastic. I got in the 7am virtual queue lotto and got boarding group 82 which had us on the ride around 2:40 today. I don’t want to say much to spoil anything but just don’t expect super high thrills. It’s extremely cool and immersive and I can definitely see what all the buzz is about. It has several different parts of the experience and a fairly short “ride” part with only one semi big thrill that I remember. I think from start to finish it took about 15-20 mins total. If you want spoilers there are several YouTube videos that’ll walk you through the whole ride. So happy we got to sneak it in and still made it to our flight home on time.

I’ll also add that we didn’t get a food reservation but did a mobile order at ABC commissary and it was very quick and decent food. We all got chicken club sandwiches and steak fries. A/C and tables inside or tables just outside.
