So Pandora is something else. Nav'I Rover Journey wait was too long. Toy need fast passes for that and flight of passage. Average wait was probably ly 2 hours for FoP and NRzj was about 90 minutes. Waiting for sunset now to watch the forest lights come on

I love WDW but wouldn’t go at Christmas if it were free.

The week before isnt too bad. Tou have to realize, a lot of these rides have been ran through. Hollywood studios is pretty old compared to star wars. Universal is a bit meh without Harry Potter. Magic kingdom appeals to very young and old. Animal kingdom was smaller but the crowds were pretty consistent. Harambe (RIP) was busier than Pandora

I brought the family over from Madeira Beach Thursday. Did The Mickey Christmas Party last night. Had the Minnie Mouse desert party for the kids and had primo seating in the garden for fireworks. Park was fine. We did space mountain x2, mine train x2, Mickey race cars, Peter Pan, and Haunted Mansion. We had no fast passes for last night but never waited more than 20 minutes in line.

Kids are swimming now and we are heading to HS tonight for Avatar, SlinkyDog, and Star Wars. Also want to hit the river lights ride.

We have always done parks during the day except for MK so this round is exciting just for change of scenery.

Staying at Polynesian because that’s the only place to stay imo. Character breakfast tomorrow at Ohana before we head to AK.

We will close down MK on Monday night and head back home Christmas Eve. I love being less than 2 hours away.

I thi k hitting those without fast passes may be a challenge. Hope you get it.i usually spend just what I need kn a hotel as I'd rather spend money out and about. I stayed at the all star resort and can say it is worth the extra money to be away from kids.

Hollywood studios now. Kids and wife got on rockin roller coaster in 40 minutes. I sat with my 4 year old son, had a beer and pretzel. Headed to fast passes now for rest of evening. Rain has started but we are prepped and ready.

We were going to do the skyliner and fireworks at epcot but the rain killed it. A quick dinner and fly out tomorrow. I am ready to be home. I enjoyed it but I am done until the star wars hotel opens. Otherwise, it is expensive tickets to go to gift shops and a couple rides

My entire family was disappointed in rise of the resistance. Waking up at 4am to be at the park at 5am to get in line to get into the park then waiting until 7am to be in boarding group 76 then waiting until 4pm to “board” the ride which basically meant we were just in another line within the ride! Yes the ride was “cool” but none of us felt we got a return on our investment(time) All of us left the ride disappointed and we felt scammed by Disney.

Btw it is completely sad what they have done to the muppets. Only muppets 3D which wasnt really working, the muppets area was very small and the gift shop only had one small section for muppet related items.

We go every year for Christmas and we now fly out on the 26th every year. We get here around the 20th and the crowds are great but every day you see an increase. However, after Christmas Day is just absurd. I think most people want to do Christmas at home so they all fly in the 26th. Once we were in the parks on the 27th and we couldn’t get a fast pass for even crappy attractions. Couldn’t move. We just left and went to Disney Springs. Never again.

We will be in AK today! See you there!

To the poster who didn’t think Rise of the Resistance was worth it: what!!?? I know, to each their own. But aside from having to be up and at the park so early, what else did you invest? You act as if you had to sit around until 4 and couldn’t do anything else. You could enjoy the park with preplanned fastpasses. You could have left and gone to any other park or back to the resort for pool time. When they alert you that your boarding group is ready you had 2 hours to get back to the park and to the attraction. I thought the attraction was mind blowing, for the record but my main point is that you didn’t invest your whole day into the attraction, or you weren’t forced to.

My favorite part of that ride was the docking bay and the cast members. I felt like I was in the iconic scene of DV meeting the Emperor
