Anyone been testing for COVID in the new olreans area for international travel?

Would need results back within a day or 2. Needs to be RT-PCR test. Not the rapid test.

Try a place called "The Urgent Care" in Laplace on Belle Terre. Try to make an appt for as early in the day as you can.

They do PCR tests on site if your insurance isn't BCBS-HMO or UHC that can come back that day or more likely the next day. UHC and BCBS-HMO require swabs to be sent to an outside lab which would take 3-4d.

They have locations in Gretna and Midcity but then your swab would need to be picked up by a runner and brought to Laplace since that's their lab location.

If it's BCBS-PPO, you're covered.
I assume you can pay cash though, have no idea how much it'll cost you though.
