I know, truly glamorous destination!
I mainly want to know if Uber/Lyft is any good in the area. Expensive? Long waits? May as well be non-existent?
Planning on brewery hopping in the area soon (Ingenious, B52, Back Pew, etc.), so no one in the group will probably be in driving shape.

Won't be a problem. The airport is in Humble so there are always Ubers around. Never used Lyft but I assume it would be the same.

Ubers are available for sure.
Definitely don’t skip ingenious. There is a new brewery in Kingwood called megaton, haven’t been yet though. Also a little bit further south is Spindletap if you are looking for a hazy ipa.

I've been to Ingenious, B-52, Spindletap, Back Pew, and Southern Yankee. Ingenious and B-52 are both must hits for me. Maybe things have changed but Spindletap seemed to only be worth hitting if you have pre-orders to get. They make great stuff but I just couldn't get any of it there. Not even on tap.
Looking to hit one I haven't been to before. Copperhead and Megaton are both possibles.
Haven't had anything in the past blow me away that comes from Southern Star. So it is kind of down the list.

Copperhead just hired a new guy that’s a total asshat. I think his name is Marty.
I would put Copperhead as a firm maybe just because of Marty.

I would visit Copperhead for sure. Seth and his family who run it are great people and make some good beer. Currently BA King of Terrors and Tangerine Striker are on tap. Both phenomenal.
Ubers out by B52 might be a little harder to come by plus B52 to Ingenious is most likely a 30-40 minute drive.
