I stayed at the Marriott by SC campus. Close to a few restaurants and you get to see the coeds strolling by all day.

ETA: there was also a thread on the food board with food recs. The good thing is you're not going this week. hotel prices are ridiculous during masters.

It is known.

But I'd say one of the hotels already recommended in the Vista so you'll be in walking distance of a ton of different restaurant options. All the ones mentioned so far are pretty good. I've personally stayed in the Hampton Inn, and it's definitely one of the nicer ones I've stayed in.

Springhill Suites is also very nice. The talent in the Vista is a mix of MILF's and older college girls.

What's the name of that Mexican place, i think it was roughly a mile from the marriot. had some awesome street tacos.

ETA: Travel Board? I didn't even know this existed !?

That's it. Here's my post from the food board.

Cantina 76

ate there last night. that place is booming ! every table inside and outside was occupied and there were more people waiting.

Got 3 different tacos. traditional, smoked pork and brisket.

smoked pork taco was excellent as was the brisket taco.

all the servers there are USC students and hot as hell.

fact. the blonde who waited on me was smoking hot. Hotter than anything walking in the quad at lsu

Both Cantina locations have a pretty clear motive on their hiring. Always hot college girls.

There are good hotels in the I-26 / Hardison Blvd area; Hampton Inn, Comfort Suite are there. This is a nice area.

The Springhill Suites on Lady Street. Close to some decent places the eat and grab a drink. Stayed there when my son went to USC. Can’t really think of a negative and I am a lifetime Marriott whatever they call it now member.

Hampton Inn in the Vista or the Inn at USC.

Holden nailed it.

As a solo traveler I’d probably pick the Aloft. Trundle is cool though, especially for a couple.
