Chicago restaurant recs near river/Michigan ave?

Wife, kids, and I are taking a long weekend trip to Chicago in October. Kids are young, 4 and 6, so nothing super fancy. Ideally within walking distance of the Trump hotel, where we'll be staying.
Gino's east is the only place I have eaten around there.

Wildberry for breakfast. It'll be about 1/2 mi south of you. On Randolph, I think.
Also Lou Malnati's for pizza. It's about the same distance, but to the west.

Lou Malnati’s has a location right there in the Wrigley Building. Eataly isn’t far. Do Rite donuts if the kids want donuts. Stan’s donuts suck.

The best restaurant within close proximity to The Trump International Hotel Chicago is Bongiorno's Pizza. They are located just outside of the north entrance of Trump Tower. They have a full Italian menu and are known for their original Sicilian Style Pizza and Gelato. At the actual hotel is Terrace 16, which features a delightful but somewhat expensive menu. It is worth visiting for the best views in the city. Have a wonderful time enjoying Chicago!

Would 100% recommend Lou in Gold Coast before this location. Slightly less crazy and really nice area to walk around - not far from Mag Mile.
