Despite moving up here I have been checking on cheap fares for y'all still. Got word that there was a sale today from NYC to lots of destinations in Europe. Looks like it is on Delta, United, Swiss, Lufthansa, and American, details are below.

NYC to:

London: $553 on any of the majors from the second week of September through the middle of March 2019. LINK

Madrid: $463 on the majors. Cheapest dates are in October through December of 2018, but the fares are only about $550 for August to Oct 2018 and Jan to March 2019

Barcelona: $414
on United or AA, DL $494. Excellent deal going through next March LINK

Rome: $470
LINK

Porto, Portugal: $574 LINK

Copenhagen: $569 on SAS or Finnair. LINK

Edinburgh: $710 over the summer including the June timeframe for several of your weddings!!! LINK, drops down to $555 in the fall LINK

Naples: $521 LINK

Geneva: $471 on DL LINK

Munich: $486 for Oktoberfest anyone?? LINK

Debating pulling the trigger on EDI. I would just use miles for the flight to JFK. Then use global upgrades for the flight over the pond.

Thanks man. Scotland is a freaking blast. I need to play with the flex dates to avoid 9/25 as it is my wife’s birthday- and she isn’t invited on the trip.

Ooh, this is killing me. Wish I could pull the trigger, but my required dates and departure cities aren’t on sale. Still looking at $1200-1300 RT for MSY-EDI or AUS-EDI. Grrr.

Paul it's about $1300 to either Indonesia or New Zealand. Remember fall here is spring there so that's when a lot of their travel picks up

Nope—going 9/29-10/8, departing MSY and AUS. The BA nonstops to LHR will work, but even w my Avios, the damn award ticket is $450ish. I can do United, thru Dulles, from both cities, but I am still 14k short of an award ticket. I am trying not to pay full fare for all three tix I need.

We’re looking at Rome that last weekend of August into September. It’s been hanging around $700 round trip. From NYC. should we pull the trigger soon?

$700 seems about normal for that time period, but the deals like this one are usually from mid august through december for about $500-$600. I dont want to say wait and then no cheap flights show up, but I'd think there will be another sale in a month or two

That was me to Ireland and I had everything booked for $500 each and my wife nixed the trip. Oh well. We'll be in Orange Beach with her family that week instead.
