Looking for a place for a long weekend
Would like for it to be around a 5-6 hr drive from Jackson ms
Preferably a cabin on or near a lake with decent views
I know there are tons of these types of places in Alabama/Tennessee/Georgia. Just not really sure where to start

Hot Springs could be worth a look too. Or Mountain Home area is cool.

Take Trace to Tishomingo State Park.
Rent one of their Stone Cabins.

Lake Catherine State Park in Hot Springs has some nice cabins. Also, Desoto State Park in Fort Payne, Alabama.
