For a traditional slice, Galleria Umberto does a great sicilian. Cash only, small hole in the wall place on Hanover St.

Looking for something more unique, Scampo has a great lobster pizza.

Honestly, I’ve never been to the aquarium so that’s one area I can’t be helpful.

That’s a good call, but I can’t believe I forgot about Brewers Fork in Charlestown. That place is awesome.

The aquarium is ok, the penguin exhibit is the best part about it
Maybe a half day at aquarium would be all you need

New Orleans Aquarium is better than the one in Boston

I have no doubt that's true. New Orleans has an amazing aquarium.

Honestly the main reason I would steer someone towards going to the aquarium is to also go on the whale watching tour. You can buy a ticket that gets you into the aquarium and then onto the boat. But that obviously isn't an option this time of year.

Yes, by the aquarium is where you can get on some boat cruises to see the whales

There’s also a cool little outside bar near the boat launch, although obviously not open this time of year

We are trying to find something indoors to do out in that area since we have 6:30 dinner reservations at Bostonia Public House...we're not tied to the aquarium perse

You can come hang out with me at my office - I’m a block away from Bostonia Public House.

But really, the aquarium isn’t a bad choice if you’re trying to stay close by and don’t want to see outdoor sites in the cold.

Can also grab a drink at Green Dragon and/or Bell in Hand. Bell in Hand is the oldest running bar in the country, and green dragon is right next door and has a ton of history.

Whats going on with Faneuil and Quincy right now? I can't seem to find too much consisting info...is it open or not?

So far, this is what we have planned.

Saturday - arrive at 1pm, drop bags or check into hotel near Fenway then head to Bleacher Bar for lunch then quickly check out Landowne street.

After that, Im making a run to Trillium and Fenway Beer shop for to stock the supply in the hotel room while the wife goes to Target for some groceries (at some point, get our passes for the T)

Probably a quick nap, then we have dinner reservations at Saltie Girl for 8:30, then Roxeanne's for 10pm

Sunday is when we have reservations at 6pm for Bostonia so trying to see what all else is in that area. Bell in Hand was definitely a thought, aquarium like I mentioned and wanted to do Regina Pizza at Quincy for lunch and some shopping at Faneuil I read it was closed due to construction at Quincy.?.? If I had to choose between Green Dragon ot Bell in Hand for lunch, I like the menu at Green Dragon better and I can always do pizza another day.

Well...no availabilities for the aquarium on sunday so may just opt to check out the harbor and catch one of their movies instead

I haven't been through in a while, but from what I'm looking at right now it seems pretty dead. I have to be honest though, that area is kind of a tourist trap, so I don't think you're missing anything if you don't go. Although Sam Adams has a new tap room there - haven't been thanks to COVID.

I wouldn't really recommend eating at Green Dragon. The food is...ok. Just pub fare, basically. That and Bell in Hand are really just places to grab a drink and say you've been there. But if you're picking one over the other, I find Green Dragon much more interesting even though it's not as well known. There are firearms and beer steins from the Revolution on the wall, and the basement was the meeting place for many of the Sons of Liberty as they planned the war. If you're there, you're 1-2 blocks from the North End (Boston's version of Little Italy) and that's a MUCH better option to find a spot for lunch.

It looks like it may snow on Sunday. Regardless, I think a nice option would be to take the Green Line from Fenway into Park Street. Get off, walk around the Boston Common, and do a little bit of the Freedom Trail. You can literally walk by almost half the stops on your way to the area where Bell in Hand is located. The FT will then take you right into the North End, where you can see Paul Revere's house and grab lunch somewhere. If you dress appropriately, doing that in the snow can actually be really nice.

Hopefully you have some comfortable boots if you’re walking around in the snow

Looks like mostly flurries, and the streets/sidewalks are cleared out. Shouldn't be a problem.

Maybe more user error than the fault of the sidewalk?

We've all been there. I busted my arse walking to the T from the office a couple weeks ago.
