Bimini Bahama

Back in 1999 I took a scuba diving class at ULM taught by Ebert VanBuren. In order to get NAUI certified we had To do several check out dives. We rented a sail boat, sailed from Ft. Lauderdale to North Bimini, and lived on the boat for a week. Back then North Bimini was very low-key, not commercialized at all. If you like to dive, there are some good ones there. We spear-fished, and caught conch to cook a few nights that week. The end of the world bar and the Compleat Angler were the only places we really went while there. I know the Angler burned down, but not sure about end of the world. I understand the place has grown some and that there are a few resorts now. Be sure to post a report when you get back. I’ve always wondered how the place has been since I went.
