Awesome ride. Would suggest it to bike riders if you haven't been. Only 7 hours from central La.

First day arrived at hotel

Forgot the name the lake. Near Mount Magazine, 2nd day.

Highest elevation in Arkansas, Mount Magazine

Some other spot

3rd day camping. Came home on the forth day.

Nice trip! I love that area. I don't ride a motorcycle but love driving through the mountain roads and there are some great ones around Mt. Magazine. I typically stay in Clarksville. From there you can ride the Arkansas Dragon and the Arkansas Pig Trail.

Here is the Dragon. Amazing road!

My name in the book at the summit of Mt. Magazine.

Since it will be added to the sticky I'll piggy back off of the OP and add some pics of Mt Magazine.

Signal Hill Trail, leads to the summit of Mt. Magazine. There is no view from the summit because it's surrounded by trees. It's a short easy trail that you're basically doing to sign the book.

Trail to the summit.

For the good views you need to hike the rim trail.

A couple pic from the Arkansas Dragon. Didn't stop much to take pics because I was hooning the hell out of this road.

This sign is how you know the fun is about to start.

Single lane bridge in the middle of nowhere.

Buffalo River Valley

If you plan on driving these roads you need to prepare ahead of time. There are a lot of elevation changes, cliffs, and no shoulders. Good tires and brakes are highly recomended. There is no one around for miles so make sure you have a full tank of gas and any supplies you may need if things go wrong. These roads are also a popular destination for bikers so stay in your lane and don't cross the yellow around corners.
