My flight to Big Sky got all jacked up so I will be arriving a day earlier than I am expected to be there. Anyone have suggestions for a good morning hike? Moderate to strenuous is fine. Something around 10 miles or under.

Cousin did Indian Ridge to Little Hellroaring/ Spanish Creek last week. Had some great photos.

Lava Lake is really good, about 6 miles. Is about 20 minutes away... Beehive Basin is really nice and right in Big Sky, 7 miles and strenuous.

Not sure about hiking, but the coffee porter at behive basin brewery is really good.

The Rut is on my bucket list of trail runs.
Alltrails link for Lone Mountain
(It looks pretty intense, but ridge running/hiking is a whole new world. Given the choice always take the ridge)
